I had my dog at their hospital for 4 nights and felt very confident she was in good hands. Everyone who works there is extremely helpful and welcoming. I especially liked the fact that they kept you informed about how my dog was doing as i was very worried about her. I highly recommend Thrive for your pet's needs.

Based on two highly negative experiences at Thrive, I cannot recommend this facility. It feels like maximizing profit is their primary focus. I want to share exactly what happened to help other pet parents. My first experience occurred over a year ago. I brought my dog to their clinic side for an allergic reaction. A couple hours after they took her to the back, the vet told me she had become agitated and suffered respiratory arrest. She gave my dog a very poor prognosis, barely let me see her, and charged me almost $5,000 for less than 12 hours of care before releasing her the next day. My recent experience was even worse. My dog was having severe respiratory issues. Before treatment on the emergency side, I was required to sign a financial responsibility form locking me into a $4,000 minimum for 24 hours of care, which would skyrocket to almost $12,000 for 48 hours of care. And - this might be the greediest part - on top of all the charges they also make you pay the credit card processing fees!! The next morning, a staff member told me on the phone that my dog was doing well and had even gone for a walk the night before. When I mentioned I'd like to bring her home based on that good news, I was told to wait for the vet. Within an hour later, the vet called with a completely conflicting story: my dog was supposedly lethargic, unresponsive to treatment, and unable to move her back legs. I rushed over within 30 minutes. My dog was in complete distress and couldn't even open her eyes. The vet told me she wasn't going to make it. Refusing to leave her there in that state, I decided to bring her home so she could be comfortable. The staff tried to make me feel guilty, but I refused to pay thousands more just to see her suffer. After four days of round-the-clock care by her side on the floor, she stabilized. Now, three weeks later, she is back to 95% of her normal self. This was my personal experience, and I feel it is important to share.

Dr. Radlinsky and staff were phenomenal in caring for my 9 year old Golden Retriever, Ducky, who had a mass removed from his liver. This type of surgery is fairly risky but they explained everything very thoroughly, from the consultation all the way to discharge instructions when I picked Ducky up, making me feel comfortable and extremely confident in Dr, Radlinsky's incredible surgery skills. I am thankful to all at Thrive who made our experience so smooth and successful.
